If you're thinking about extending, reconfiguring or updating your home, our free initial consultation is a relaxed way to chat through your ideas. It gives you a clear sense of what's possible for your property and lets you talk through any questions or concerns at your own pace.
With years of hands‑on experience working across the New Forest and surrounding villages, we use this first conversation to outline your options and help you feel confident about the next steps.
During the consultation we can:
• view your property on google street view
• find old estate agent details or rightmove etc
• look at planning history for the property and neighbouring houses
• discuss layouts and potential constraints
• any other queries
You are welcome to show us any photo's or sketches you have, and discuss further ideas and options.
Design
Once a client has had their initial consultation and accepted our quotation, the next step is to carry out a full dimensional survey of the property. This allows us to record accurate measurements and understand how the existing spaces work.

From there, we revisit the brief together to make sure everything is clear and aligned. With this information in place, the design work begins. Using the ideas discussed during the consultation, we start developing a set of initial proposals that balance your aims with practical considerations such as planning policies, floor‑space limitations and the character of the property.

The aim at this stage is to explore what’s possible, present clear options and create well‑thought‑out designs that form a strong foundation for the planning process and the next steps of your project.
